The first programme, “Explore: The Human Being”, was full of excitement – a festival of festivals was held. After getting themselves wet, the children celebrated the Holi festival of vivid colours, played traditional playground games and did a flash mob.
Everything began with a water fight on a huge soccer field and continued with the Holi festival. The main tradition of this festival is to throw brightly coloured dry paints over one another – luckily, they are easy to wash off.
The second part of the festival was devoted to “traditional games from the playground”. We held a marathon of playground games in the gymnasium, many of which modern children no longer play (hopscotch, skipping, skittles). In the final part of the festival, there were two big flash mobs: a dancing flash mob, and the Mannequin Challenge.
