This is a post about the love and admiration for the parents, counsellors and experts of the first JDI! family session “Carnival of Cultures”.
Different, bright, passionate, extraordinary, accomplished, talented, and each in their own way unique, and very, very beautiful.
Open to everything new, they ran with every idea: they got stuck into mafia after lights out, learned to tell stories in acting class, danced salsa and fled outside the camp to dances and gatherings with wine.
They were not afraid to throw off the usual masks of adulthood to get closer: to each other, to children, to their real selves.
Closer and, we want to believe, happier.
